"Being Human" actress Kristen Hager has joined the growing cast ensemble of Fox's "Gotham."

According to Zap2It, Hager is set to play the role of Nora Fries, the wife of Victor Fries, also known as Mr. Freeze and played by "House of Cards" actor Nathan Darrow, in Fox's "Gotham." In Gotham, fans will see Nora become terminally ill. Victor would become desperate to help her sustain her life as her condition worsened. The character description said that Nora must make the crucial choice, which is to play the willing participant in Victor's plan or sacrifice herself to halt the internal monster of her husband.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Nora was initially introduced in "Batman: The Animated Series." Her marriage with Victor was happy until she developed a life-threatening illness. She was frozen by her husband, with the latter hoping to find a treatment. But then, GothCorp stopped giving financial assistance to Victor's work, leading him to become villain Dr. Freeze.

Aside from Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke's fantasy horror film "Being Human," Hager is also known for her roles in Colin Strause and Greg Strause's alien sci-fi "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem," Timur Bekmambetov's action fantasy "Wanted," and Jeremiah S. Chechik's comedy romance "The Right Kind of Wrong."

Hager is set to be part of Michelle Asford's drama series "Masters of Sex," David Zabel's drama series "The Adversaries," Urich Thomsen's drama film "In Embryo," the sci-fi mystery series "The Expanse," and an untitled Miami project.

Meanwhile, "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 7 "Mommy's Little Monster" airs on Nov. 2 while Episode 8 "Tonight's the Night" airs on Nov. 9.
