Fairies 3; Spriggan 0. Or is it? Brandish is down but is she out?
In Fairy Tail 460, Brandish was taken out by hay fever and a hit in the head. Yes, it was just a fluke. Brandish became weak due to hay fever, and Cana took an open shot as she was "begging for it."
Very few believe that it's the last of the "planet destroyer" in the battle, especially since the revelation is still kept hanging even after the double chapter release. Mangahelpers forum members chime in.
User 'Dranzer' said: "At the given point I highly doubt that Brandish is actually down, I just think it's her version of the dragon slayers and their motion sickness. She'll probably get up and either take out the main base or take Fairy Heart from underneath them."
There is also the question of what Zeref is up to. His allies are falling one by one, but the final panel hinted that this is "just the tip of the iceberg." It seems impossible that Zeref is oblivious to the happenings at Magnolia.
User 'XXEliteXXAceXX' said: "I also can't imagine what Zeref is doing right now. Whether he is in Alvarez, tracking down Acnologia, in Magnolia, etc. It's really interesting to see what happens next."
There is also a declaration that almost went unnoticed, but may have some significance eventually, from user 'Wooticus: "One more thing I didn't understand: The Raijinshuu actually spoke about Wahl being the complete counter to Laxus. Do you guys think that might be some sort of foreshadowing? If there is a loaded gun hanging around it needs to be fired. So if someone states that Wahl is the total counter to Laxus this screams like Laxus is supposed to prove him wrong."
Over at Reddit, fans are delighted with the Ichiya appearance. The character has been unrecognized, yet could be one of Fairy Tail's secret weapons, as user 'Godisme2' noted:
"Ichiya has always been said to be very strong. Erza even stated that Ichiya is around her level. So yeah, I am okay with this. I dont think the problem is that the fights are too one sided or bad, its that they are too short. I just want to see more of a back and forth between opponents."
Ichiya is set to figure prominently in the next chapter, whose translated title is "For Who's Sake is That Parfum?" (sic).
