There is no stopping the Need for Speed 2015 Reboot to burn rubber and race starting on November 3 - the appointed release date for the latest Electronic Arts game title. But before grabbing the refreshed NFS off the shelves and take it for a spin, read on for the key details about the game.

Designed for three gaming platforms

EA will release the NFS for three groups of virtual racing enthusiasts - those in the Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PS4 and PC platforms. The first two versions will hit stores as announced on November 3 but PC gamers will have to wait until early 2016 for the thrill ride. And the wait should be worth the while, according to Gotta Be Mobile, saying that graphics rendering on the latter will be at incredible 60fps.

And the new NFS has a deluxe counterpart that GBM said is packed with unlimited discounts on upgrade purchases and an all tricked-out starter car. These extra benefits will be unlocked for $10 on top of the NFS sticker price.

Online NFS racing

EA said that the latest NFS installment is Online-only, meaning an Internet connection is required for the game engines to fire up.

Five game modes

The NFS 2015 is playable in five different modes - speed race, race in style, race with a crew, car building mode and the heart-thumping outlaw racing.

Heavy download

For NFS fans planning to get the digital copy of the game, the disk space requirement is quite hefty - more than 17GB for the PS4 owners and a bit heavier for the Xbox One folks at 18GB. So its best to prepare for the room needed prior to downloading.

EA Access

The NFS 2015 Reboot was provided ahead of the rollout date to a chosen few, specifically those who belong to the EA Access circle. The elite group requires monthly fee of $5 to get a taste of the EA gaming perks but for those opting for the annual membership, the cash damage is only $30.

As indicated, EA Access opens the door for advance download and playtime of the latest NFS flavor and the same applies to future game titles set to be published by EA.

NFS deals

Another benefit of having an EA Access account is the automatic 10% discount when purchasing the new NFS and other EA game titles. Other NFS-related deals are also available that could see discounts of up to $15 per purchase.

But those willing to wait for the Black Friday deals on November 27, it's highly likely that higher savings will be realized or the Need for Speed 2015 can be even had at minimal or no cost at all for first time Xbox One and PS4 buyers as a game bundle.
