Miley Cyrus called out Selena Gomez after the latter reportedly said that her Halloween costume was disrespectful towards Disney. The "Dooo It" singer said that she did not care what anybody else thinks of her, adding that Gomez was "below her."
An insider close to Cyrus told Hollywood Life that the singer could not care less what Gomez thought of her. She allegedly said that Gomez should just mind her own business and worry about her own career instead of keeping up with her every move.
When Cyrus heard about the diss, it reportedly did not affect her in any way.
"Selena means nothing to her and her thoughts don't steer Miley's day in any direction whatsoever," the source said.
Cyrus recently shared a photo of her Halloween costume on Instagram, in which she was dressed as Cinderella with a blunt on her mouth, writing that she was "high as hell."
The publication earlier reported that the "Same Old Love" singer offended by Cyrus' post. She allegedly thought that it was done in "poor taste."
Gomez, however, allegedly said that it was typical of Cyrus to do something like that given her track record. After all, Cyrus has always been determined to shed off his Disney image in any way possible.
Regardless, Gomez thought that Cyrus was being disrespectful given that it was Disney after all who gave the singer her first break. The "Hotel Transylvania 2" actress added that she would never think of doing something as rude as that.
