Top five squad US Sassuolo Calcio (5-2-4, 19 points) will play bottom-dwelling team Carpi FC (1-7-3, 6 points) at the Mapei Stadium - Città del Tricolore on Sunday, November 8th for a 2015-2016 Serie A season matchup.
Sassuolo settled for a goalless draw against lowly team Udinese at the Stadio Friuli last Sunday, via Soccerway. Eusebio Di Francesco's men failed to follow-up on their momentous 1-0 win against defending champions Juventus on October 28th, who they beat for the first time in club history.
Udinese was actually the more aggressive team in the game and I Neroverdi was lucky to have finished it with a point to add in the overall standings.
With the draw, Sassuolo kept its no. 5 spot in the league table as they are now five points behind new league leader Fiorentina and tied with AC Milan with 19 points apiece.
Meanwhile, Carpi remained at the bottom of the standings after a 0-0 draw with fellow cellar-dweller Hellas Verona at their home turf of Stadio Alberto Braglia on November 1st, as per ESPN.
I Biancorossi halted their three-game losing skid with the goalless tie against Verona, who is still seeking its first win of the current season as the team remained the only winless club so far.
Sassuolo is expected to take advantage of Carpi's woes at their home field this weekend and blowout victory may be inevitable.
The prediction is a 3-0 romp for Sassuolo.
