The DC demon hunter John Constantine (Matt Ryan) of the hit NBC supernatural TV series lends beyond just a hand in the latest episode of "Arrow" season 4 titled "Haunted."

"Arrow" season 4 episode 5 saw Constantine featuring in the storyline as an estranged friend of Oliver Queen during his five years sojourn. Constantine's character is meant to undo the horrific resurrection of the original Canary, Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), from the Lazarus Pit.

In an attempt to put Sara's revived soul to the rightful state, Constantine, Queen, and Laurel Lance travel to another realm. An escaped rabid Sara has been on a continuous killing spree, which not only troubles Team Arrow, but also Sara's father, Police Captain Quentin Lance.

The new realm resembles Nanda Parbat and the three see Sara inside the Lazarus Pit desperately calling on her sister to help her. Constantine makes it his responsibility to deal with the imminent adversaries after Queen shoots two members of the League of Assassins with his bow and arrow. Queen helps Laurel to pull Sara out of the Pit as Constantine pronounce a spell to stop the evil spirit possessing her.

Episode 5 ends in the "waking" world with a more peaceful Canary. However, Constantine's guest appearance turns out to be just a "One-time-only" deal.

Another significant storyline of the episode concerns Felicity finding Ray Palmer's "goodbye" message, which reveals that he was unharmed.

The two most recent developments of Canary and Palmer's superhero character will be the starting point for a send-off for both of them as "Legends of Tomorrow" debuts on The CW next year.
