The official synopsis for "Empire" season 2, episode 7, according to TV Guide reads:
Lucious explores the possibility of partnering with Jago as he maps out a plan to turn Empire into a global music monolith; at the same time, Andre struggles to find a balance between his newfound values and demanding career. Elsewhere, Hakeem molds Laura into a star; and Cookie pushes to get Lyon Dynasty involved in a major televised charity concert.

According to another synopsis from Futon Critic, Lucious starts to plan for the ascension of Empire from record label into global music monolith. As a result, he wishes to collaborate with Jago, seemingly the founder of a music streaming company.
On the other hand, Andre has to change his newfound characters to attain a delicate balance between his belief and his career. Hakeem starts working with Laura to change her into a star as Cookie focuses on having Lyon Dynasty be part of a famous televised charity music event.
Apart from Patrick Mulvey, other cast members include Mimi Whiteman (Marisa Tomei), Leah Walker (Kelly Rowland), Laz Delgado (Adam Rodriguez), Freda Gatz (Bre-Z), Carmen (Yanira Martin), Marisol (Raquel Castro), and Laura (Jamila Velazquez).
