A new leak for "Star Wars: Battlefront" revealed a new patch for the PlayStation 4 version of the game, and it is now available for download.

Reddit user TeRmRaN19 revealed what is included inside update 1.01 for PS4. The patch contains fixes and tweaks that will make the gaming experience more enjoyable. The patch also fixes some of the issues and bugs that were not yet fixed in time for the retail release, Gear Nuke reported.

Among the fixes and tweaks introduced by the "Star Wars: Battlefront" 1.01 patch are tweaked hero card spawn times, fixes for the partner system and vehicle issues and more. It also comprises of different fixes for getting stuck when exiting Starfighters and ground vehicles, and general crash and stability fixes.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" patch 1.01 has online traffic performance improvements, various text fixes for all languages, and general bug fixes for both Missions and Multiplayer. Players should note that this is just the day one update for the game on PS4 and it is possible that different platforms will have their own patch notes.

There is also a "Star Wars: Battlefront" companion app that is now available on both iTunes and Google Play, according to Geek Snack. The app allows players to check out customization options, power-ups, loadouts and more as well as play a card based game called Base Command, which allows players to earn in-game Credits that can be used in the main game. 

"Star Wars: Battlefront" costs $60. It will be officially launched on Nov. 17 across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
