It has not been a very good year for actor-comedian Bill Cosby. After allegations of molesting two women on separate occasions, Bill Cosby is now facing a third lawsuit, this time for defamation. Tamara Green, 66, accused Cosby of defaming her by publicly calling her a liar after she claimed that she was drugged and raped by Cosby more than 40 years ago.

Joseph Cammarata, who also represented Paula Jones in her sexual harassment lawsuit against then-President Bill Clinton, filed the eight-page complaint in Springfield, Mass. Aside from this new lawsuit, the comedian is also facing two sexual harassment complaints filed beforehand. These allegations correspond with a number of sexual misconduct charges directed towards Cosby by several women who claimed they were molested by the comedian.

Tamara Green, 66, claimed this incident happened in the late 1970's when she was still an aspiring model and singer. She claim that she and Cosby met at a café in Los Angeles. Further statements claimed that she was tricked by the comedian into taking drug by giving her a pill concealed as a cold tablet. According to her, she was then sexually assaulted at her apartment and was left with $200 on top of a table right after the comedian left. Another accuser, Judy Huth, sued the comedian, saying that he was also molested by Cosby at a very young age of 15 at the Playboy Mansion. Huth claims the whole experience left her traumatized and has only recovered recently.

Cosby, on the other hand, remained quiet and has held his ground despite all the alleged accusations. Cosby still claims innocence notwithstanding all the charges thrown against him.

As a repercussion, NBC and Netflix already cancelled Cosby's projects and projected re-runs of his widely-watched sitcom, "The Cosby Show". It was also reported that he resigned his post as a board of trustee in Temple University, the same university where he graduated.
