In Episode 6 "Room 33," the show revealed details about the Hotel Cortez's resident living in Room 33. Meanwhile, John learns about his wife Alex's transformation. As for Liz, he finally found his true love, who was killed by the Countess.
Moving on to Episode 7 of "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5. According to the synopsis for "Flicker" (via Spoiler TV), the upcoming instalment will see some major revelation as secrets are unveiled.
It all happens when Drake's renovation work begins at the Hotel Cortez. A promo video for "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 teases the events of Episode 7. It seems like the renovation workers come across a long-buried secret in the chambers that have been "sealed" for years. It happens to be Hotel Cortez's "greatest secrets."
The video shows a bizarre looking man attacking one of the workers. Meanwhile, John's recent behaviour is concerning. Thus, he undergoes a psychiatric evaluation. "There's a killer out there, murdering with impunity," John tells someone in the promo.
Furthermore, fans can expect to watch Countess/Elizabeth's past unfold. Episode 7 reveals how she found out "the fate of her first love." The upcoming segment is expected to feature James March in the flashback. Scroll down to watch the promo video.
