The New York Jets (5-4) gets some extended rest as they travel to the NRG Stadium to meet with the Houston Texans (4-5) on Sunday as Week 11 of the 2015 NFL season moves forward.

New York dropped a 22-17 decision to the Buffalo Bills in a Week 10 Thursday matchup at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, as per Sports Illustrated.

The Jets' offense were nowhere to be found in the first half of their match as the Bills limited them to only three points at the break before quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick made two touchdown passes in the second half, but it was already too late.

Meanwhile, the Texans had just given the Cincinnati Bengals their first taste of defeat this season with a low-scoring 10-6 Monday Night Football victory at the Paul Brown Stadium, via ESPN.

Backup signal caller T.J. Yates filled in for the injured Brian Hoyer in the third quarter and converted one touchdown to lead Houston past the red-hot Bengals.

J.J. Watt and the defense limited the usually offensive-minded Cincinnati squad to only six points via two field goals in the first half, then kept Andy Dalton's crew scoreless in the second on the way to the victory.

New York is favored to win this matchup and while Houston will again flaunt their defensive prowess, Fitzpatrick has too many offensive options that the Texans would not be able to cover all at the same time.

Prediction: Jets win, 17-14.
