"Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe has given his advice to the new actors in J.J. Abrams' upcoming film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."
Radcliffe has played the role of the iconic wizard Harry Potter in all the eight film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novel of the same name. In his interview with Entertainment Tonight Online after ten years of witchcraft and wizardry, Radcliffe said that young actors should enjoy the film.
The "Harry Potter" actor also said that there were some weird things that he thought people felt about franchises. He said that franchises were fun, since people did that so they could do other cool work. Radcliffe also said that actors got to do stuff in franchises that they did not get to do when they were doing little indie films.
For Radcliffe, franchises would allow new actors to execute stunt sequences and insane action stuff, which was a lot of fun.
Radcliffe still had the taste for the fantastic in his career appetite, according to Cinema Blend. Aside from the "Harry Potter" films, Radcliffe is set to be part of Paul McGuigan's horrir sci-fi "Victor Frankenstein," Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's adventure comedy "Swiss Army Man," Daniel Ragussis' thriller film "Imperium," Jon Chu's comedy thriller "Now You See Me 2," and John Krokidas' comedy film "Young Americans."
Abram's "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," which is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." The film stars an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill, among others.
Meanwhile, "Harry Potter" spin-off "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set to follow Newt Scamander as he explores 1962 New York with his suit and fellow heroes. The film stars Eddie Redmayne as Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina , Dan Alison Sudol as Queenie, Fogler as Jacob, Colin Farrell as Graves, and Ezra Miller as Kredan, among others.
"Harry Potter" author Rowling also penned the source material, which will serve as guide for the film's story. However, exact plot details, additional characters, and cast are yet to be revealed.
Yates' "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is slated to premiere in theaters in United States on Nov. 18, 2016 while Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" hits theaters on Dec. 18. McGuigan's "Victor Frankenstein" premieres on Nov. 25.
