"Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 is set to air Episode 9 titled "Depravity Standard" on Nov. 18, 2015. The upcoming segment will see Olivia Benson and her team members take up an old case that involves a child abductor, who claims that SVU agents have framed him. In Episode 8 "Melancholy Pursuit," Special Victims Unit investigated the case of a 15-year-old girl, who went missing. Investigation and DNA testing led to the revelation of some family secrets.
Moving on to "Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 Episode 9. According to the synopsis for "Depravity Standards" (via Cartermatt), Lewis Hodda returns as he goes to the trial once again. The man has been accused of being child abductor and has committed multiple murders.
As Benson seeks justice, the plea deal is rejected by the court. The only thing that can help prove Hodda is a criminal is an old evidence that has been preserved for more than a decade. Barba is determined to see Hodda behind the bars and do not want him to walk free this time.

According to Christian Today, Hodda was last seen in Season 14 wherein Hodda confessed of kidnapping two boys who went missing. But what happened after that? While Hodda waits for justice, the day of his trial has arrived and he maintains that he is innocent.
