“Minecraft” Wii U Edition rating from Pan European Game Information (PEGI) has leaked online, but the entry has vanished eventually.

NeoGAF user HypnoDarkrai spotted the "Minecraft" listing for the Wii U by the European ratings board PEGI. The news came before the scheduled Nintendo Direct. PEGI pulled it, and it seems that the “Minecraf”t Wii U Edition rating simply leaked early by accident.

The disappearance casts doubt on the fate of the port, which would have made “Minecraft” available on all current major home consoles, as well as most handhelds and even mobile devices, Wired reported.

PEGI gave a rate of 7 for “Minecraft” Wii U Edition, a similar rating like all other console versions of Minecraft.

The most recent result of “Minecraft” on PEGI's archive is now "The Last Place You Look", the third chapter in Telltale Games' episodic adventure “Minecraft: Story Mode.” Previous chapters, there was the Windows Phone release of “Minecraft” Pocket Edition and no trace of the game for Nintendo platforms remains.

Nintendo held its first promotional Nintendo Direct on Nov. 12. The game may have gotten its official reveal during the broadcast but there was no mention was made of Mojang's classic sandbox. The company did, however, reveal a slate of 30th anniversary content for The Legend of Zelda.

When the game launches on the Wii U, it could be tweaked to take advantage of the console’s array of features, according to International Business Times. It could even be capable of Off-TV play. However, seeing as there are minor differences between the console versions of “Minecraft,” not much should be expected from the Wii U version.

Developer Mojang’s million-dollar-earning video game “Minecraft” is available for several home consoles including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is also playable in handhelds like the PlayStation Vita as well as iOS and Android devices.
