An interesting trade scenario swapping the Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins and Ben McLemore for the Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat, and Otto Porter was recently suggested by an NBA analyst. Does this deal make sense for both parties involved?

Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated said that he wants to see the abovementioned deal happen this season for the benefit of both the Kings and Wizards.

Despite their lineup being strong on paper, Sacramento is a broken team right now and something needs to change immediately to make the squad whole again.

Reports that general manager Vlade Divac had contemplated on firing head coach George Karl went abuzz last week as Cousins led a "players only" meeting to discuss the Kings' internal issues, via The Big Lead.

Speculations of Cousins being traded to the Celtics for David Lee and draft picks have also emerged, but Danny Ainge is said to be hesitant in making the call, as per the Boston Herald.

Woo said that aside from having the chance to reset, the Kings will "get two valuable pieces" with the young wing tandem of Beal and Porter moving forward. Gortat is also a useful addition that could keep their frontline competitive even with Cousins' departure.

Meanwhile, Cousins to the Wizards means that he will be reunited with former Kentucky pal John Wall and that would mean a tremendous boost in Washington's championship aspirations.

Ultimately, if the pair continues their college success in the pros, the team could actually lure Kevin Durant to Washington and the trio will instantly become the league's best Big Three, putting the Wizards in serious title contention for many years to come.
