Reviewers believe that the Lumia 950 is the best flagship phone Microsoft has ever made, but the failure to have a wide variety of apps for users pose a familiar problem for the company.

The Lumia 950 packs a stellar camera that could beat even those of the iPhone 6s and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Microsoft's latest flagship device is one of the first smartphones to ever utilize the Windows 10 Mobile, OS the Windows Hello sign-in feature and a support function for the promising Continuum tech that easily allows the phone to connect to a monitor, keyboard and mouse, in a manner similar to how an individual uses the PC, according to TIME.

The Continuum feature of the Lumia 950 is the sweeping advantage Microsoft has against its competitors. The small Continuum dock works almost perfectly, except for the incompatibility of some apps to run alongside the feature.

Likewise, the Windows Hello feature is a fascinating alternative to fingerprint sensors as a security technology since the front camera of the Lumia 950 only has to scan an individual's eyes before granting permission to a user.

One slight problem is that the person has to look directly into the camera for Windows Hello to work properly, and the process can irritatingly take a few seconds, according to PC World.

On the other hand, the battery life of the Lumia 950 can last for a whole day. Another important feature of the large battery utilized is its removability that allows people to replace the empty batteries for a spare one immediately.

The limited apps provided for Windows is still a formidable problem when it comes to attracting consumers. People are used to downloading many apps they find useful, and Microsoft's app store pales in comparison to both the Google Play and the Apple App Store.

While Lumia phone users can now download apps such as Facebook, Uber and Instagram, other famous apps such as Snapchat and Seamless are still unavailable.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 was released on Nov. 20, Friday, and costs $600.
