Surprise team SD Eibar (5-2-5, 20 points) will be in for a tough time as it hosts redemption-seeking Real Madrid (7-2-3, 24 points) at the Estadio Municipal de Ipura on Sunday, November 29th for a 2015-2016 La Liga season matchup.
Eibar finished last season at 18th place and was almost relegated if not for Elche CF being administratively transferred by the LFP to the Segunda Division. This season, however, is a new story for José Luis Mendilibar' side as the team managed to lose only twice after 12 games so far in the season.
They are on a three-game unbeaten run and their last match was a 1-1 draw with contending squad Villarreal at the Estadio El Madrigal last Sunday, as per ESPN.
Los Armeros forward Sergi Enrich scored the opener at the 27th, but teammate Keko was sent off at the 76th, allowing Villarreal defender Jaume Costa to equalize the game at the 85th.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid was humiliated by Barcelona, 0-4, at their own Santiago Bernabéu Stadium last Saturday as calls for Rafa Benitez's sacking were heard all over the field, via SkySports.
The offensive tandem of Luis Suárez and Neymar did it again for Barça and although Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema had their fair share of chances throughout the match, Blaugrana goalkeeper Claudio Bravo swatted all of them away.
It was Los Blancos' second consecutive loss, making them fall at the no. 3 spot in the league table behind Barça and Atletico Madrid.
Benitez's boys are expectedly furious right now and coveting for a win and Eibar will just have to be the unwilling victim of their projected onslaught this Sunday.
The predicted result is a 4-0 romp for Real Madrid.
