It was Sienna Miller's first time to meet Clint Eastwood during the filming of "American Sniper."

However, Miller said she was not intimidated by the director because he was sweet.

"It's not my place to comment. That's a minefield of a conversation," Miller also said when asked by The Wall Street Journal about being a sniper as a strange job to have.

For Miller, snipers are "incredibly patriotic" and they "go into this" because of their "overwhelming sense or need to protect" and not because "they like to kill people."

Before "American Sniper," Miller recently appeared on films "Foxcatcher," 'A Case Of You," "Just Like A Woman," "Nous York," "Two Jacks," "Yellow"  and "G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra."

The 32-year-old actress said her opinions on war and guns are not that relevant. She said while she is "an actress that comes on board to be a part of the story," Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, whose life "American Sniper" is based on, is "a man who existed and did save many lives."

On the other hand, Miller described war as "an ugly thing" and is represented in "American Sniper" as "the villain on both sides."

Moreover, Miller explained that viewers can see the atrocities of war in "American Sniper" and the fact that no one wins in the game of war. The film depicted Kyle's struggles with numerous aspects of his job.

Directed by Clint Eastwood, "American Sniper" stars also Bradley Cooper as Kyle, E.R. Ruiz, Luke Grimes, Brian Hallisay, Jake McDorman, Kyle Gallner, Keir O'Donnell, Marnette Patterson, Brando Eaton, Sam Jaeger, Owain Yeoman, Max Charles, Cory Hardrict, Mark DeSalvo, Kevin Ryan, Shaun Anthony and Eric Close among others.
