"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is releasing in theaters around the world on Dec. 18, 2015, but the film is still in production. Director JJ Abram came out and announced to fans that only 6 important things are left to be done.

According to Abrams, the mix of the film was finished at 2:30 am Saturday morning. When he says mix, the director is talking about the music and sound overall. That was the most important thing that needed to be done, and now that it is over, Abrams can focus on the lesser matters.

As for what the 6 small things are, we have no idea, but we do know the movie won't be overrun with lens flare. Yes, JJ Abrams is known for having too much lens flares in his movies, even in places where they do not belong.

Speaking with fans and reporters are the "Montclair Film Festival's" fundraiser Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, Abram stated that while lens flare will be featured in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," there won't be a lot of it since the film isn't right for it.

The director came under fire from "Star Trek: Into the Darkness" fans due to how he uses lens flare in that movie. His wife was one of his detractors as she once told him enough is enough after she watched the final cut of the movie and was unable to recognize the face of an actor due to the use of lens flare.

As for the fate of the heroes and villains of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Abrams says folks should watch the film to find out.
