While everyone is talking about "Halo 5," "Fallout 4," and "Black Ops 3," it is possible for major releases to get drowned out during this holiday season. "Rainbow Six: Siege" is one of the games being overlooked amid being one of the most impressive looking games at E3. There has been little buzz concerning this game.

"Rainbow Six: Siege" is slated for a Dec. 1 release alongside "Just Cause 3." Before the actual release, there is an open beta for "Rainbow Six: Siege" that begins today, Nov. 25, and runs through Nov. 29, for players on any platform to have a look, according to Rainbow 6. While this is not the first beta event for the game, it should be the longest and at the same time close to the launch date for the actual game.

These lengthy betas are normal for most games, a form of new era for the game demo, which is crucial for players.

"Rainbow Six: Siege" exists yet as another game completely focused on competitive multiplayer, which a different trend that seems to be sweeping the industry. Just like "Titanfall," "Battlefront," and "Evolve" that came before it, the game is $60 up front. However, as opposed to these games, Ubisoft has pointed out that all upcoming map content for "Rainbow Six: Siege" will be free. This could be the reason why there are no many complaints from fans concerning the game like it was the case with other titles, most recently "Battlefront" and the devastating $50 DLC Season Pass.

There is concern that lack of buzz might affect "Rainbow Six: Siege," but this should not be encouraged for at least trying to do $60 multiplayer correctly by making sure that the game has support from post-launch free content, Forbes reported.

Watch out for the open beta of the game this week.
