"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth is now reportedly open to dating now that the franchise is over. Insiders claim that years after working together, Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend finally had the guts to ask her out.
According to Heat magazine, via Mirror, everyone in the cast knew that Lawrence and Hemsworth are perfect for each other. They pointed out that it goes beyond looking good together. It was said that they are compatible in almost every single way.
Insiders claim that Hemsworth has always been open about taking his friendship with Lawrence to the next level. Turns out, it was the "Silver Linings Playbook" star who is wary of entering another high profile relationship. Following her break up with Nicholas Hoult, sources close to the star held that the actress was not ready to start dating seriously.
"Liam would love to be in a relationship with her. He's said more than a few times that she's his dream girl," the source said.
In an interview with Nylon magazine, Lawrence gushed about how lucky she is to have Hemsworth as her best friend. The actress said that she never thought she would have someone as good looking as him to be one of her closest friends.
"He's the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy."
Lawrence added that Hemsworth has taught her a lot of things, including learning how to "negotiate" and stand up for herself. She said that he encouraged her to toughen up and always be fair.
