The South Korean mobile manufacturing company Samsung released a new flip model W2016 in China. The phone was listed in Samsung's official website although there were no specifications about its price or release date.

The new flip model features 3.9 inch AMOLED touch screen, along with T9 keyboard. The Samsung W2016 will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop version and the handset is built mainly out of metal and glass. The new flip phone features 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The camera features sensors similar to that of high end models brought out by Samsung earlier, such as Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy Note 5.

Yet another added feature of Samsung W2016 is its battery capacity. The consumption time for battery charging is lesser and also offers efficient stand by time. The phone weighs around 200 grams, which is comparatively higher compared to that of other models. Coming to the storage features, Samsung W2016 is backed with 3GB RAM that can be further extended up to 64GB according to user convenience.

Considering the factor that Samsung has earlier launched its flip models in India, it would not be wrong to consider that W2016 might also get launched in India. In August, Samsung released yet another flip model G9198 in China market. Now it needs to be seen if SM-W2016 will also feature similar success story as that of G9198.
