Taylor Swift fans have been banned from bringing backpacks at the "1989 World Tour." Following the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, the singer has reportedly requested to tighten the security.
According to Brisbane Times, Swifties who are planning to bring a backpack to hoard "1989" merchandise may need to have a plan B. Turns out, anyone who will be bringing a bag much bigger than an A3 sheet of paper will be confiscated.
Suncorp Stadium general manager Alan Graham explained that although the security staff has been conducting exhaustive bag checks, they perceived it would be best to ban backpacks for everyone's safety.
Even smaller bags will be searched so we ask fans to help us by avoiding bringing bags as they will cause delays at the gates," Graham explained.
This is not the first time that Swift has banned fans from bringing backpacks to her "1989" concert. The same rules applied to her recent concert in Washington, Tampa, Pitsburgh and San Diego.
In other news, Swift was a no-show at the recent American Music Awards as she was reportedly filming a new music video overseas.
According to NZ Herald, Swift was spotted with boyfriend Calvin Harris in Queenstown. The two reportedly spent some much needed down time together. They also reportedly paid visit to Lorde's parents in Auckland.
Swift and Harris have long been plagued by break up rumors but insiders close to the couple claimed that they are actually getting closer each day. Some even speculated that the two will tie the knot early 2016.
