The TBS and BS-TBS Japanese television networks will be airing the upcoming 8-Bit anime adaptation of the manga series titled "Shonen Maid" in the spring season of 2016.

Yusuke Yamamoto, who has previously worked on "Aquarion EVOL," "Walkure Romanze," "Encouragement of Climb," and the first and second seasons of "Sgt Keroro," will serve as the director of "Shonen Maid."

In addition, Yoshiko Nakamura will be responsible for the series composition of "Shonen Maid," according to Crunchyroll. Nakamura had contributed to supernatural and romance series "Hiiro no Kakera" and the anime adaptation of the popular comedy manga titled "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun."

Kanda Ishida will serve as the character designer for "Shonen Maid" after creating art for "Wakaba Girl" and "Irregular at Magic High School."

Moreover, the story of "Shonen Maid" focuses on the life of Chihiro Komiya, who is a young, elementary school boy, as the boy becomes a maid at Madoka Takatori's luxurious house immediately after Komiya's mother passed away.

In other news, another anime series produced by 8-Bit studio, which is titled "Comet Lucifer," has begun streaming on Hulu, according to The Fandom Post.

The first episode of "Comet Lucifer" is already available with original, Japanese dub and English subtitles provided. Hulu subscribers will also be able to see the anime series in high-definition whether the user is using the streaming service on a television, smartphone or PC.

"Comet Lucifer" stars Ayaka Ohashi, Yuusuke Kobayashi, Rie Takahashi, Takuma Terashima, Inori Minase and Ayaka Suwa.

Consequently, the plot of "Comet Lucifer" basically revolves around Sougo Amagi who lives in the beautiful world that is composed of blue, shiny crystals valuable enough to keep the town of Garden Indigo thriving. Amagi's life forever changes as the boy meets a red-eyed girl at an underground lake and proceeds to go on an adventure of a lifetime.

"Comet Lucifer" began airing on Oct. 4 and has currently released ten episodes.
