Synopsis

Episode 21 commences with the landing of Freeza's army on earth. Many enemies flood out of the ship. Gohan and the rest discuss their option as Bulma arrives to inform them that she could not get in touch with Goku or Vegeta.

On the other hand, Freeza asks the group where to find Goku in addition to intimidating Krillin by reminding him that he killed him once before. Gohan warns that Freeza's power-level has increased greatly. The army attacks even as Roshi encourages everyone to take on 170 soldiers each.

Everyone pulls his or her weight but Krillin, who seems afraid of being killed for the second time. At the same time, Freeza provides an entire planet to the soldier that manages to kill Krillin as he is surrounded.

The episode as well reveals that Goku and Vegeta continue to spar as training with Whis. Amid their progress, the two still cannot get close to Beerus' power level. Beerus suggests that Whis should consider taking the pair to a special training area, something that Whis does.

Fans can see how Krillin is shocked to realize that he is in really sense much more powerful than the soldiers that have surrounded him. His success motivates the rest of the group to continue attacking. They make find it easier to eliminate the first wave of soldiers.

Eventually, Freeza orders a stronger soldier to kill them, and Gohan faces him alone. One of the remaining powerful soldiers takes advantage of the fight distraction to send a power beam through Gohan. Gohan dies momentarily before being revived by Piccolo.

It would seem that Freeza's assistant is now Tagoma, a soldier with more power than the Ginyu Force.
