Marvel has recently released a full-fledged trailer of its new feature "Ant Man". The movie stars a promising cast of Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly.
The Marvel movie is titled "Ant-Man" because its story revolves around a crook given much modern day technology that will help him to become minuscule so that he can be a superhero.
Scheduled to be released on July 17, "Ant-Man" will see Rudd play his first ever superhero role in his entire career in Hollywood. This movie was supposed to be directed by Edger Wright but he later on dropped this project, which was unexpected as this movie was his baby. It has now been directed by Peyton Reed of the famed "Yes Man" and "The Break Up."
While Rudd will be playing the small-sized super hero, Michael Douglas will play the scientist who develops the formula for shrinking Rudd's character and transform him into a superhero.
The ability to shrink in size but grow in strength is one of its kind in superhero movies. With "The Avengers" also scheduled for a 2015 release, "Ant-Man" will not be the only big Marvel movie to be released this year.
The Marvel movies have seen the same number of superheroes for quite some time now, so the introduction of "Ant-Man" is a fresh breeze for all the Marvel fans out there.
