According to Xinhua, the company is excited to be competing in the Chinese market once again. Motorola is said to be looking forward to the impending reunion after a long absence.

Lenovo Executive Vice President Liu Jun and the president of Lenovo's Mobile Business Group said that the three smartphones in their current lineup are the Moto X, the dual-SIM card Moto G, and the six-inch Moto X Pro. These phones are considered the most premiere products of the company to date.

Meanwhile, Lenovo is expecting Motorola to boost its smartphone sales. The acquisition is viewed with hope and anticipation. Liu said that he expects Motorola Mobility to account for more than 40 percent of Lenovo's smartphone shipments this year, starting from April 1. In line with this, Lenovo is set on making sure the Motorola acquisition would turn out to be a profitable one in as short as four to six quarters.

"The most challenging part is not only that we need to integrate the business, but we have to turn around the business quickly," he said. "So we have a very aggressive plan."

Motorola announced on Jan. 6, Tuesday, that the Moto X and the other two premium models will start to be on sale in China in February.
