Top six team Crystal Palace FC (7-6-2, 23 points) will meet mercurial club Southampton FC (5-4-6, 21 points) in a 2015-2016 Premier League season game at the Selhurst Park on December 12, Saturday.

Crystal Palace settled for a 1-1 tie with Everton at the Goodison Park on Monday as the Toffees executed an all-out pressurized attack in the second half of the contest, as per SkySports.

Center back Scott Dann managed to squeak out a goal in a well-timed counter-offensive of Alan Pardew's squad at the 76th minute to thwart the plans of Everton. However, Toffee striker Romelu Lukaku finally scored a goal after two missed chances to level the count nine minutes before full-time.

Meanwhile, Southampton also settled for a 1-1 draw, this time with cellar-dwellers Aston Villa at their home field of St. Mary's Stadium last Saturday, as reported by BBC Sport.

Villans defender Joleon Lescott netted the opening goal one minute before halftime to give the visitors the lead at the break.

The Saints are not to be denied, though, as substitute midfielder Oriol Romeu, who replaced Serbian winger Dusan Tadic at the 63rd, equalized the score 10 minutes after he was fielded to salvage a point in the overall standings for Ronald Koeman's side.

The prediction is a tough 1-0 victory for Southampton. The Eagles are not playing lackadaisically at the moment and the Saints could take advantage of that to finally break their three-game winless slide.
