"Tu Youyou" is the title of an upcoming biography of the acclaimed Chinese scientist of the same name, who recently won the 2015 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine, that will soon be published by the People's Publishing House, according to a report by Women of China.
Designed by China Women's News and written by the agency's reporters, the book is the first biography to ever record Tu's life experiences completely.
The book includes interviews of Tu and her family, colleagues, students and classmates. It also features over 130 pictures from Tu's own collection.
"Tu Youyou" also mentions several little known facts that are to be revealed for the first time, including details about Tu's life, development and love affairs. The book's publishers say the wealth of information is sure to keep readers interested.

Tu received her Nobel Prize during a ceremony in Stockholm on Dec. 4.
In Tu's speech at the Karolinska Institute on Dec. 7, she recalled her team's discovery of the drug artemisinin, as well as her efforts to win recognition across the world. The full text of her speech is also available in the book.
The 86-year-old researcher of the China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences was the first-ever Chinese woman to win a Nobel Prize in science.
Tu won the Nobel Prize for developing therapies against malaria, specifically for discovering the drug artemisinin, which "has significantly reduced the mortality rates among patients suffering from malaria," according to the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.
