The various performances will showcase the Dance of Dehong, a dance of the Dai ethnic group in northern Yunnan with the jive of native music, the vocal concert of Chinese well-known artists' creations, and a one-of-a-kind talk show of Xiha comedians' newly launched programs.

Xiha is known as a group of 30 crosstalk comedians born after the 1980s. They are known for their funny parodies and amazing one-liners of current issues with Internet slangs and catchwords.

Aside from the traditional Chinese performances, there will also be an exhibit of overseas artists: Scotland bagpipe band, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and two other concerts by famous Chinese tenor Ding Yi and Australian soprano Lorina Gore in "Splendid Harmony and The Night of Rose."

In line with the most celebrated Valentine's Day on Feb. 13-14, audiences will be serenaded by the two concerts performed by Ding Yi and Lorina Gore. Renditions of the love stories from three generations will be exhibited through classic, romantic and popular music and folk songs.

The concert will also feature guest singers Gong Shuang, the face of new Chinese folk song, and Zhang Xin, second-prize winner of the CCTV reality show "Star Avenue."

Gore will be singing "Tian Mi Mi" and "Zai Shui Yi Fang," two classic songs of Deng Lijun both in the Chinese language, to fill the atmosphere with a refreshing audio-visual feast.
