The release date of "Sense8" season 2 is reportedly pushed back. Originally, episode 1 is slated to premiere on June 2016, but turns out the production will only begin March 2016, thus, moving the air date to a later schedule.

Speaking to The Film Stage, the show's cinematographer John Toll shared that they  may start shooting for the second season March of next year. He, however, shared that they are still ironing out the details following the renewal.

"We're talking about it. It's just sort of starting to fall into place with scheduling and everything," he shared.

Multiple reports suggest that if the cast and crew are only going to start filming by March, a June 2016 release date may not at all be possible. It also does not help that the show films on different locations. Some even speculated that we may not get to see the second season until 2017, given its intricate post process.

The two-month  wait before Netflix confirmed the renewal also reportedly delayed the schedule even further.

Fansided previously claimed that "Sense8" will follow the pattern of the other Netflix originals, such as "House of Cards." It was pointed out that each season premieres roughly the same time, with only a week interval.

For instance, season 1 of "House of Cards" premiered Feb. 1, 2013. The second and third season aired Feb. 14, 2014 and Feb. 27, 2015, respectively. Since the first season of "Sense8" aired on the first Friday of June in 2014, the author speculated that it would follow the same pattern and premiere come June 3, 2016.
