"The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev avoided Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed at the 2015 Golden Globes after party, a source told Hollywood Life.
Dobrev was seen staying on the other side of the party and kept herself surrounded by friends. It was said to be an awkward scenario for her since Somerhalder and Reed kept walking around like the prom king and queen considering that Reed has many friends in the music and film industry. The two were seen glued together showing lots of kissing and PDA all through the night.
The situation for Dobrev was apparently very uncomfortable. Aside from seeing her ex-boyfriend together with her former friend, she also had to withstand being around her ex at work while they do "The Vampire Diaries."
If staying away from her former friend is what Dobrev hoped, it was difficult to achieve that night. She reportedly had to make sure that the coast was clear before she would go to the ladies room but evading them was hard to manage. She kept on running into Somerhalder and Reed, and as they walked by each other, they simply gave a smile and a simple hello, the source said.
Nevertheless, despite all the discomfited position Dobrev had with the couple's presence, she looked very gorgeous and stunning in her black embellished gown created by the hands of Zuhair Murad. Murad's creation was a sparkling black evening dress with a low exposed back and a sheer detailed neckline that made her looked like a princess.
