"Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan recently revealed how his wife Amelia Warner helped him land the role of Christian Grey in the franchise.
In an interview with Shortlist, Dornan said that Warner was so understanding when he informed her that they needed to transfer to Vancouver for four months.
At that time, Warner was already five months pregnant to their first daughter Dulcie, but she didn't have any problems with the fact that they were going to have a Canadian baby.
To add to that, Dornan also informed his wife that he will be naked in the film, and Warner didn't even question whether or not it will be good or bad for him.
Instead, she proved to her husband how incredible she was by saying that she understood every single detail about his role.
"Well, my wife is a brilliant, hugely understanding person. Plus, she was an actress for ten years, so she's aware of what it's like. A lot of people would have had a sh*t fit at 30-weeks-something pregnant, 'Darling, we're going to Vancouver this week for four months - we're going to have a Canadian baby and I'm going to do a film where, for parts of it, I will be naked.' That's a tough pitch, but my wife is an incredible person," he said.
Meanwhile, Dornan also revealed that immediately after he was cast for the role of Christian Grey, he took it upon himself to read every single one of E.L. James' books.
He also hired the services of an S&M worker so that he will know how to use ropes and other things during intercourse.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will premiere on Feb. 10, 2017.
