The latest listing sighted for "Battlefield" may not have been off the mark. DICE has already confirmed that there will be a new "Battlefield" title, and that some of the team members are already working on it.

Dan Vaderlind, development director in DICE and for the "Battlefield" series, has shared that they will now be moving to the development of the new "Battlefield" game. This comes after the release of the hyped "Star Wars Battlefront," which is one of the more major projects of the studio.

While also promising that there will still be support for "Star Wars Battlefront," as other members of the team will be working on it, Vaderlind did hint that he will be one of those who will be moving on to the next project, as IGN reported.

For now, this is all that DICE may be willing to release in terms of details for the next "Battlefield." Earlier, the sighting for a "Battlefield" game was seen in IMDB. The listing has shown to be "Battlefield 5: Armageddon," which features a Japanese soldier looking to go back to his family in Japan amidst the conflict.

DICE has not commented on the listing, though this sighting should be taken with grain of salt. The latest title "Battlefield Hardline" already deviated from the numbered iteration, though it could also be argued that the theme of the latest installment did deviate from the military style themes that have dominated the franchise.

It is highly likely that the studio will give more details on the upcoming "Battlefield" following "Battlefield Hardline." It will also be interesting to know when the studios is planning to release this game.

While waiting for the next "Battlefield" title, fans can go back to "Battlefield 4" to enjoy the newest teaser released by the developer. The expected free DLC still does not have a definite release date, but DICE has released a new trailer, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

Dubbed as the "Battlefield 4" Legacy Operations Cinematic Trailer, there are a lot of explosions and war vehicles. The DLC will deliver a reworked version of Dragon Valley, which has now been tailored for "Battlefield 4." This is not the only update for "Battlefield 4," as DICE has also promised the holiday update coming sometime later this month.
