According to reports leaking out ahead of the revelation by the company next year, this project has been named as Project Lucky. The company is giving more importance on low price and better performance, so that the expectations of people are not belittled.
The features that are expected to give the Galaxy S7 a boost in the market include faster Snapdragon 820 processor, which would mark a dramatic improvement over other Galaxy phones. The company is also expected to re-introduce the SD card, restoring the slot for storage expansion.
As of now, Samsung is yet to reveal anything about the Galaxy S7 features and release date, but it is expected that there will be some news before the Mobile World Congress begins. The company is expected to announce the release in January next year, and reports from insiders say that the company is working hard on S7 to compete with Apple.
