The game 'No Man's Sky' is one of the eagerly awaited games of 2016. However, if reports are anything to go by, some planets will never be discovered.

The title enables gamers to use their spaceship and visit millions of planets in a galaxy. However, it may be possible that some planets may never be discovered due to the structure of the game, GamesRadar reported.

The game uses a complex mathematical algorithm to construct its universe instead of a group of individual coders designing every planet in the No Man's Sky.

Rumors are doing the rounds that several of the created worlds will never be found despite the possibility of many gamers discovering new places each day.

Hello Games's Sean Murray said that with that 32-bit number it will take players 4000-5000 years to view each planet if they spent just one second on each one. Till date, No Man's Sky has 18 quintillion worlds.

No Man's Sky is incredibly expansive. Murray further said that it will take a player billions of years to visit every planet and make a full list of each location within the game.

According to Polygon, the video game developer deployed their own robotic satellites in No Man's Sky to explore the planets and take pictures.

Reports also suggest that a player's ship can be upgraded in several ways, including weapon power, jump drive range and speed. But a player can own only one ship at one time, therefore, they will need to ensure that it fits with their particular play-style.

No Man's Sky is due to land on PC and PlayStation 4 in June next year.
