Microsoft may have released the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL just few months back, but there have been speculations all over about a follow-up device coming soon. Rumors say that the software giant is producing a cheaper kind of smartphone in the form of the Microsoft Lumia 850 Honjo.
As rumored earlier, the upcoming device is said to come in white color. As per reports gathered by GSMArena, as originated from a Chinese website, the handset was featured in white with gold, and another version in a pink frame. Furthermore, it also came with a black version with a steel-colored frame and light copper-colored frame. As featured in the leak renders, the white version with gold frame and gold detailing at its back seemed to have standout among all those featured. It could possibly be the new look of the rumored Lumia 850.
There have been a lot of speculations about the Lumia 850, which will suit the mid-class range as compared to the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. However, the main distinction as featured in the leaks was having the device in a bit of metal on its body. It also features an infrared scanner or a front facing flash.
As to its hardware, the Microsoft Lumia 850 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 617 chipset and not the Snapdragon 820 or the Snapdragon 810. It is coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and octa-core CPU. The display size is about 5.7-inches with 1080x1920P resolution.
There may have been a lot of speculations or rumors circulating around the Web about Microsoft Lumia 850, but as what experts say, the device could be released pretty soon, or it will just die before it ever makes its way to the market.
