The new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" trailer just hit the web and it lets fans revisit the enchanting world of Harry Potter, in his pre-Hogward's period.
The trailer opened with a voice over saying the spell "Lumos Maxima," the spell Harry uttered at the opening of "Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban." Then, fans saw Porpentina Goldstein, the future wife of Newt Scamander. Goldstein appears to be talking to Seraphina, the head of the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA). It is the counterpart of the Minister of Magic, as per Hypable.
The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" trailer also showed a destroyed part of a building, which shows the danger of the titular beasts that escaped Scamander's suitcase. Along with it was Percival Graves, a MACSA Auror and the right hand of the American wizarding world's president.
Then, one of the much anticipated sequence in the trailer was Scamander together with his suitcase. After opening it and hearing some sounds, he closed it. With the sounds heard, it is assumed that there are still beasts inside; however, the number of those that escaped is unknown
If "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" becomes successful at the box office, it is assumed that more spin-off films will follow, according to Wired.
Some interesting spin-off films that may be featured in the future include"Dumb and Dumbledore," "Diagon With the Wind," "Afraid to Ask," "Grangers on a Train," "Some Like It Gringotts," "Young Hagrid Gets the Blues," "Herbie: The Love Muggle," and "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Snape."
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" serves as the prequel to J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" novel series. Set in 1926 New York, the films centers on the exploits of magizoologist Scamander as he came to the city's underground community of witches and wizards.
Directed by David Yates, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" stars "Les Miserables" actor Eddie Redmayne as Scamander, along with Katherine Waterston as Goldstein, Dan Alison Sudol as Queenie, Fogler as Jacob, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina, Colin Farrell as Percival Graves, and Ezra Miller as Kredan, among others.
Yates' "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is slated to premiere in theaters in United States on Nov. 18, 2016.
