In the 31st iteration of the mother of all reality shows, Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance, Jeremy Collins was voted the winner by unanimous decision after a well-played game across 39 gruelling days, beating out fellow contestants Spencer Bledsoe and Tasha Fox.

Collins, 36, originally competed on Survivor: San Juan Del Sur and lasted 24 days, being blindsided by his own alliance before becoming a member of the jury. This time however, Collins was able to play masterfully under the radar, hiding behind Joe Anglim and Stephen Fishbach whilst finding two hidden immunity idols, one of which he played to keep Fishbach from being voted out, resulting in the ouster of Ciera Eastin.

After Spencer won immunity, two hidden immunity idols were played for the first time in the history of Survivor when the group decided to split votes between Collins and Kelly Wentworth. In the end, it was Kimmy Kappenberg who got booted. In the next and final immunity challenge, Collins won, beating Bledsoe, Fox and Wentworth to earn a spot in the final three.

Wentworth was sent packing after a majority vote.

During the final tribal council, Collins was praised for his good social game, wherein he kept deception at a minimum and boasted of loyalty and bonds.

In the family visit portion of the game, Collins was visited by his pregnant wife Valerie who whispered to Collins that they were having a baby boy. Collins kept this a secret from the rest of the group, all along planning to reveal to them the good news at final tribal. His plan worked and Collins had an overwhelming case to win Survivor.

Once host Jeff Probst read the votes, the decision was final. All votes read were in favor of Collins who bagged rights to call himself sole survivor, as well as winning $1-million.

Collins played a respectable social game, one that longtime fans of the series have shown appreciation for. As a result, he is widely considered one of the best to ever play Survivor.
