Lowly club Granada CF (3-7-5, 14 points) will try to follow-up on their rare win last week as they meet slowly rising team Celta Vigo (8-3-4, 28 points) at the Estadio Los Carmenes this Sunday, December 20 for a 2015-2016 La Liga season match.
Granada pulled off a 2-1 win over cellar-dweller Levante at the Estadi Ciutat de València last Saturday, as per ESPN.
El Graná's Venezuelan striker Adalberto Penaranda had a brace to lead José Ramón Sandoval's side against the struggling Les Granotes.
After a scoreless first half, Penaranda netted the opening goal of the match at the 50th minute before Levante midfielder Simão Junior was able to equalize the count 16 minutes later.
However, the Nazaríes were not to be denied as Penaranda scored his second goal at the 88th to snatch three points in the overall standings and move up from the bottom three relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Celta Vigo escaped with a 1-0 victory over Espanyol at their home field of Estadio Municipal de Balaídos despite being a man down starting the 47th minute when midfielder Pablo Hernandez was sent off for a second yellow card, via SkySports.
Os Célticos striker Iago Aspas put Eduardo Berizzo's boys on top before halftime with a left-footed shot from outside the box before Hernandez was sent off the field.
The win was the third straight unbeaten game for the Sky Blues after suffering from two consecutive losses as they moved back up to fourth place in the overall standings.
The prediction is a 2-0 triumph for Celta Vigo.
