Fiorentina dropped a huge 1-3 decision in the hands of last season's winners at the Juventus Stadium last Sunday, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Gigliati winger Josip Ilicic started strong for Paulo Sosa's side, scoring right at the third minute of the match via a penalty kick to indicate that his team is in for a fight against the champs.

However, the hosts are keen on protecting their home field, and their title hopes as well, by scoring the next three points en route to the lopsided rout.

Juan Cuadrado, Mario Mandzukic, and Paulo Dybala scored at the sixth, 80th, and 90th+1 minutes respectively to push Juve up to fourth place in the overall standings.

The loss snapped Viola's five-game unbeaten run to temporarily hold them off for second place in the current league table.

Meanwhile, Chievo nipped two-man down Atalanta, 1-0, last Sunday at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, via SkySports.

Slovenian winger Valter Birsa took advantage of La Dea's one-man down penalty and scored at the 76th minute, ten minutes after defender Nicolo Cherubin was shown a direct red card for violent conduct.

Atalanta was not able to level the score as midfielder Jasmin Kurtic was shown a second yellow and was sent off a minute into injury time to help preserve Chievo's win.

The prediction is a close 2-1 victory for Fiorentina.
