During the last "Ninja Turtles," it was outlined in clear terms why Krang comes to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows." Many people do believe that it's going to happen soon and is not restricted to a few handfuls. Since Shredder can't defeat the turtles all by himself, neither can Rocksteady and Bebop, who are Shredder's own creations. So, this particular movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows" desperately needs a bad guy and the only one we have is Krang.
The trailer of the "TMNT 2" is the huge clue for all of us. You can see the bigger blocks flying and are dashing against the buildings ridden by teenage turtles. The blocks hitting the buildings are not at all ships but are too clunky and funky. Just like the pieces of puzzles, they do appear like the blocks. So, what it feels when you see the 3D blocks flying around the 3D puzzle? You get the major 3D thing creation.

It is all about Technodrome. Such 3D blocks from the Technodrome means Krang is just around. It is mindboggling for many, asking how the worm hole opened up? The SOS and General Krang got the message clearly. Those blocks that are seen flying, moves to the same place, and do not move onto the air randomly. Hence, you can call it the Technodrome blocks, the bunch of big blocks merged together.
Yet, this is another sign that the pink and squeaky guy is making an appearance.
