Chris Hemsworth and Tang Wei's movie "Black Hat" premiered in the United States today, Forbes reported.

Hemsworth portrays the ex-convict Nicholas Hathaway who hunts digital criminals to discover the initiator of a nuclear reactor's meltdown. Wei plays the actor's love interest as well as his sidekick.

The Australian actor said that he was convinced to star in the movie when he discovered that it will be directed by Michael Mann. Hemsworth added that he also got fascinated with the script since he is clueless about the digital world, which is the movie's theme.

"The Hunger Games" actor shared his experience in filming "Black Hat."

"Diving into the world of code, hacking, and trying to get my head around it and understand the language... it was exhausting," Hemsworth said.

As part of promoting his latest film, the actor was recently seen at Los Angeles LAX Airport. The "Thor" star was greeted by groups of screaming fans who wanted to get his autograph. The female fans of Hemsworth was also highly amused when the actor appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" and got drenched in water in a game, Sydney Morning Herald reported.

The game called Water War involves a stack of cards wherein the celebrity guest and Fallon would have to compare the numbers in their chosen card. The winner has the privilege of drenching his opponent with a glass of water and a water gun. Hemsworth lost the game and he was dripping wet by the end of the segment.

The actor who has been hailed as People's Sexiest Man Alive even danced while Fallon sprayed him with a water gun. Hemsworth also did an interview with Fallon wherein he revealed the reasons why he left California and moved back to Australia.

Hemsworth said that living in Los Angeles was a temporary set-up and he wanted to go back to a quiet place, which is a coastal town in Australia.

Fans can catch Hemsworth as Thor in the upcoming "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1.
