Following the end of its support for its Food App, Evernote is set to remove three more of its products.

Evernote will no longer have its Clearly extension, Skitch app, and Pebble smartchwatch app, according to PC Mag. The reason centers on the improvment of the core Evernote experience.

The platform wrote on its webpage that the management realized fans of Clearly and Skitch might be disappointed and they did not take such decisions lightly. According to its blog, the cross-platform and freemium app was no longer updating the applications and they could no longer be downloaded after Jan. 22, 2016.

Evernote Clearly is designed to transform web pages, articles, and blog posts into cleaner and more readable pages. Users can save them to Evernote for easy accessibility anytime and anywhere.

The app provides a distraction-free online reading experience by removing other details from the page except for the content. Users can just tap the Evernote icon to save the reading later id they do not have time to finish it. Users can also personalise its interface with its wide-array of pre-set themes. It can be downloaded for chrome.

Evernote's Skitch app uses sketches, shapes, and annotation, to express a thousand words and make ideas become reality. Uses can make their points with various shapes, arrows, and put emphasis on important details with quick sketches and markup. Designed for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, Skitch can be used on the desktop, tablet, and phone for feedback and ideas.

Pebble is a smartwatch app, which provides users access to Evernote notebooks, notes, tags, shortcuts, reminders, and checklist, directly from the smartwatch. Users can view important content to their watchface, allowing them to retrieve e-mails, addresses, meeting notes, and receipes, among others, in a simple way.Pebble can be accesed by both Android and Apple smartwatches.

With Evernote dropping these three apps, users will find that they may still work for some time in January as they will not be turned off. However, Evernote will be bringing external changes like updates to the users' operating system or browser, which might affect the features or functionality of the said apps in the future.
