"Homeland" Season 5 is only few hours away from airing its highly-anticipated Episode 12 (Finale) titled "A False Glimmer." In the final segment of the fifth instalment of Showtime's political drama, Carrie will continue her search for the international terrorist Qasim. Here are few spoilers for the finale. Episode 11 "Our Man in Damascus," ended with a huge cliffhanger. Carrie loses tracks of Qasim and ends up in a dark train tunnel. Meanwhile, Saul Berenson discovers that Allison Carr has managed to escape once again.
Moving on to Episode 12 of "Homeland" Season 5. The network has not released a synopsis for "A False Glimmer." The description on Showtime's official website is vague as it read "the clock runs out."
However, a promo video for "Homeland" Season 5 finale teases the events of Episode 12. The caption for the trailer suggests that Carrie attempts to stop a planned terrorist attack.
"There are hundreds of people on the platform. Thousands in the station. That train will push the gas everywhere," Carrie says in the promo video. Meanwhile, several media outlets are speculating Rupert Friend's fan-favourite character Peter Quinn may not return for "Homeland" Season 6. According to Cartermatt and Untitled TV, there are chances Quinn may not survive Season 5 finale and his story may come to an end in Episode 12.
Since the network decided to be secretive about what's going to happen in the "Homeland" Season 5 Episode 12, nothing can be said for sure. Fans will have to wait until the finale goes on air to know where things go from here.
