The game was said to help the sales of this handheld console, beating the PlayStation 4 with only 24,000 units sold during the same week.
Moreover, from the time "Monster Hunter X" was released in Japan, the game has received a lot of great reviews that helped in the increase of overall sales. But with the possibility of getting an international release since its positive sales outcome in Japan, the game is unlikely to come to the United States this year. Game developer Capcom has been silent about the possible date for international market release.
