There have been considerable talks regarding how Sony Xperia Z6, Samsung Galaxy S7 and many other Xioami phones will appear in the market with pressure-sensitive display screens. So, the reports from HIS reveal that a quarter of the Smartphones in the year 2016 sports similar technologies. This shouldn't be surprising to the smartphone users.

Except for Huawei, there are no other smartphone companies which have accepted the adoption of this technology. Huawei already have smartphones using the pressure sensitive screen technology but it is not as hyped as iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus.

This is a fact that 3D Touch is being marketed heavily. But it seems that the various initial impressions of the feature have revealed that there is no major potential in this particular technology. This feature is not considered to be essential.

So, in comparison to 3D Touch, the pressure sensitive technology is more promising and here to stay. Thus, all the passionate smartphone users out there may very seriously consider purchasing a pressure sensitive smartphone in 2016.
