Recent photo posted on Reddit making rounds online shows the full specifications for one of the handful of variants that Samsung appears to have on the way. This new phone appears to have the same 5.7-inch and 2560 x 1440 screen resolution just like the S6 Edge+, though it is not yet clear clear if the device has a curved or flat display.

It is also rumored that Galaxy S7 will feature a similar design as the Galaxy S6, but using a new kind of magnesium alloy that is expected to make the Galaxy S7 much stronger than the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S7 line of devices will also have a glass back, but this time Samsung may be switching to Turtle Glass instead of Gorilla Glass. Turtle Glass is a glass cover developed by Samsung that is supposedly stronger than the Gorilla Glass used in its current devices.

The device is also said to have 4GB of RAM and it is all powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chip paired with Adreno 530 GPU. The Snapdragon 820 chip features the first custom-designed 64-bit quad-core CPU. Galaxy S7 may potentially pack with a non-removable 3500 mAh battery. It will also support a full day charge in only 30 minutes, according to Forbes.

As for the camera, Galaxy S7 may feature a 12.2MP rear camera with a sensor larger than the one included in the 16MP cameras of the Galaxy S6 family. A larger sensor usually means higher image quality. It will also feature 5MP front camera for selfies and video chat.

In addition, it is possible that that the device will have a pressure-sensitive screen, a USB Type-C port, and, possibly, a retina/iris scanner, The Verge reported. It is also rumored that Galaxy S7 will have a fingerprint reader to be used for security unlock and mobile payments using Samsung Pay.
