When Marvel Studios release "Iron Man 4" in theatres by 2020, its toughest competition in the box office is DC's "Batman," which is also expected to hit cinemas about that time.

Marvel Studios is yet to confirm the release of the movie "Iron Man 4," which is in 2020 based on the production company's release date calendar.

Just recently, speculations are around the Internet whether actor Robert Downey Jr. will accept his portrayal as Iron Man or Tony Stark in his fourth movie of the prosperous superhero franchise.

Few reports speculate that the actor is now tired of portraying the role of Tony Stark and Iron Man, even though the franchise has made him the highest paid Hollywood actor in the past three years. However, according to some reports, it will seem unlikely if the actor will just give up this prolific role.

Marvel Studios will not have a hard time meeting the actor's salary demand for "Iron Man," up to say $150 million, as all its movies have made a real sum of money as box office hits.

What makes it a bigger issue is the age of the actor, since he's not getting any younger. If he shoots "Iron Man 4" in 2019, he would be in his mid-50s, unlike those times when he shoot "Iron Man" way back in 2011.

Meanwhile, the "Iron Man 4" franchise is bracing for tough competition if Marvel Studios will keep their word in releasing the said movie in 2020.

When Marvel Studios release "Iron Man 4" in theatres by 2020, its toughest competition in the box office is DC's "Batman," which is also expected to hit cinemas about that time.

The Iron Man may have a great experience in the box office, but it is also unforgettable that the Caped Crusader did also made a big hit in previous movies, as noted by Movie News Guide.

It should be noted that "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be coming to theatres on March 25, and is expected to make great sales in the movie industry.

When 2020 comes, it is most likely that the annual dose of Iron Man may have worn thin the character, and with the offering of the refreshed "Batman," the film should also be most welcome by movie goers.
