‘Scorpion’ Season 2 spoilers: Post-Valentine’s Day episode has Los Angeles earthquake

Known as Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun is one of the executive producers of the CBS series "Scorpion," which stars Elyes Gabel as Walter O'Brien and Robert Patrick as Cabe Ballo.

"Scorpion" Season episode 17 titled "Adaptation" will air on CBS a day after Valentine's Day. Los Angeles will be stricken by a powerful earthquake in the episode, which is directed by Sam Hill and written by Scott Sullivan and Aadrita Mukerji.

In order to prevent a massive explosion during the earthquake, the members of Team Scorpion have to fix a pinched gas in "Adaptation." "The Celebrity Apprentice" alum Penn Jilette will return as a guest star.

The other half of the Penn & Teller duo plays Dr. Cecil Rizzuto, the counsellor of Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) and Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas). Aside from his guest appearance in the CBS series, Jilette also starred with "Bordertown" star Missi Pyle in the horror film "Director's Cut," which he wrote and was directed by Adam Rifkin.

Jilette competed twice in "The Celebrity Apprentice." In 2012, he was eliminated in Task 11 and in 2013, he finished second behind Trace Adkins in the all-star edition of the reality game show, which starred Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Thomas recently talked about his character and Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong) getting together and how it affects Walter and Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee). The actor told Entertainment Weekly that it may put "a lot of pressure" on Gabel's character.

"I imagine it's like an awkward double date where one couple can't stop making out and they're all over each other," Thomas told the publication. He added that while the other couple likes each other, no one has made the first move yet and it creates awkwardness and suggests what clearly must be taking place.

According to Thomas, it is not only the audience at home watching "Scorpion" who sees how into each other Toby and Paige are but also everyone working at the CBS series. He added that it will "turn up the heat under Walter a little bit."

In other news, Thomas recently put his Hollywood Hills house on the market at $849,500. The 1950s bungalow was originally owned by "Earthquake" actor Don Mantooth, according to Los Angeles Times.

Aside from Jilette, Gabel, Thomas, Wong and McPhee, "Adaptation" will also feature Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Meagan Englis, Will McFadden and Thomas Rosales Jr., among others.
